Fresh Creamy Luscious Ricotta
There are different ways of making Ricotta. Urban Cheese teaches you how to make soft creamy Fresh Whey Ricotta.
The milk used is from gorgeous Jersey cows . The milk has a creamy taste and texture enhancing the ricotta produced.
What does Ricotta mean? It means recooked! However that does not mean ricotta is cooked twice. It means extracting the protein from the whey that has been left from making the curd during the making cheese process.
Ricotta is used as a delicious spread, baked, used in sweet or savoury dishes and dips.
This is an ideal class to learn about different types of milk and how to use the milk in the cheese making process.
What you make you will take home and enjoy along with the recipes.
